Admission to the HGS Reunion event on September 28, 2024 is limited to people who were employed by HGS and one adult guest. To bring a guest, you must purchase a second ticket.

Thanks to the robust early response and the generosity of our sponsors and donors, we will not increase the ticket price as previously announced.

This special event will be a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with old friends and colleagues, reminisce about our time at Human Genome Sciences, and celebrate the many achievements of the company and its alums over the years. Whether you were a part of the research, development, business operations, or any other department, your contribution played a vital role in the company's success. We will have a variety of activities planned for the celebration, including lunch, dinner, a stroll down memory lane, and more! This will be a fantastic occasion to catch up with familiar faces, network with fellow alums, and share memories of our time at Human Genome Sciences. Donations and Sponsorships

In late 2023, a small group of HGS alumni began planning a 30+ year HGS Reunion to celebrate the company’s legacy, its employees, our enduring friendships, and facilitate new friendships that will inevitably emerge from the Reunion.

The planning phase has now advanced to the point where we must solicit funding to secure vendor services. Back in the day, HGS would have gladly provided the financial support we need - just like they did for hundreds of happy hours, holiday parties, and other celebrations. Those days are gone but can never be forgotten. It is now our time to throw HGS a party, one befitting of its legacy and our collective appreciation of the opportunities and friendships from “back in the day.”

Funding outreach is focused on tiered sponsorships that honor HGS’s founding paradigm of Nucleotides, ESTs, DNA, Protein, and Antibody levels. Sponsors of greater than $1K will have their name/logo displayed on banners at the various food, beverage and entertainment stations. Donations at any level are also welcome but those under $1K will need to purchase tickets separately. Tickets prices will be forthcoming.
